JAKARTA - The Strokes is one of the most awaited names in We The Fest 2023. The long wait was finally answered when Julian Casablancas cs went on stage Friday, July 21 at GBK Sports Complex, Jakarta.

Wavering, The Strokes immediately started appearances with The Modern Age and Bad Decisions. Then they also sang Under Control and The Adults Are Talking which was heating up the stage that night.

"I didn't expect it to be this busy," said Julian Casablancas, the vocalist before continuing the next song.

He then performed Meet Me in the Bathroom, You Only Live Once and others. Before heading to the middle of the song, Julian invited a fan to perform a Juicebox song with him.

Julian asked Fabrizio Moretti, the drummer for The Strokes to find fans who could fill his part. A man named Adam was then pulled and went on stage. Adam also accompanied The Strokes to sing Juicebox.

"Are you going to get out of the band? Albert told me too," said Julian Casablancas. It was later discovered that the man named Adam was a member of the band Sajama Cut.

The stage continues with Is This It, Someday, Welcome to Japan, Soma, and Hard to Explain. The tight audience that night made The Strokes personnel feel grateful for enlivening their performances.

The Strokes officially ended their performance with Automatic Stop and Reptalia. They immediately disappeared from the stage after the performance was completely over.
