JAKARTA - The pop punk band group from Bekasi, No Gigs Still Party (NGSP) released their first single titled Salah, in digital format on July 1 yesterday. This work opens the album Periah which is planned to be launched in the near future.

In the lyrics, the single Salah raises the theme of complicated romance wrapped in pseudo promises. The pain was felt by two people because after trying to knit love for a long time, but the promised beautiful ending never materialized.

"The nuances of EDM in this song prove that NGSP is not just a pop punk band," said Bowo, the vocalist, in his statement.

"In his work, No Gigs Still Party always tries to explore and mix all existing genres, without being limited to one genre," he continued.

In the midst of the pandemic in 2021, the No Gigs Still Party was fronted by Bowo (vocals), Gilang (guitar), Arief (vocals/guitar), Eby (bass), and Irhas (drums).

The name No Gigs Still Party was inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic which had a major impact on the music industry at that time. Concerts and music shows were canceled or postponed, so there was no excitement or fanfare.

However, this did not make No Gigs Still Party give up. They decided to continue working and playing music, even though they had to be done from home.

At the beginning of its appearance, NGSP was formed as a music unit fueled with fun without thinking about recording works. However, along with the many supports from a number of parties, No Gigs Still Party finally decided to collect material.

Tembang Salah is the opening gate for the next works of No Gigs Still Party, which will later lead to an album titled Perih which is still in production.
