Kawasaki Releases NInja ZX-10RR Racing Edition, Only 10 Units Available In Germany

JAKARTA - Kawasaki, a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, recently launched a limited edition Ninja ZX-10RR high-performance model specifically for the German market. The motorbike, named ZX-10RR WSBK Edition 2024, offers more than just the performance of ordinary big bikes.

Kawasaki revealed that this special edition motorcycle was developed by the Kawasaki Racing Team WSBK team based in Friedrichsdorf, Germany and has different performances from the standard version.

According to a report from Rideapart, Monday, August 28, this motorbike was created with inspiration from the WSBK racing motorbike and is equipped with an additional air-intake system installed on the airbox. This system can be activated when motorists want to use the Engine Control Unit (ECU).

When this system is activated, the servo will lift the entrance funnel when it reaches the highest RPM, allowing larger airflow into the combustion chamber.

At low to medium speeds, the funnel remains in a low position to produce optimal fuel and air mixtures for the best combustion at all speed ranges of the engine.

Of course, because this motorbike is specially designed, its energy has also increased. The Ninja ZX-10RR WSBK Edition is equipped with a fresh 998cc 4-cylinder engine that has been upgraded by Pankl Racing Systems, including the use of light pistons and arod link made of titanium.

The inside of the machine is also enriched with layered piston pins such as diamonds (DLC), light and strong valve springs, as well as racing camshafts which are special secrets to creating this special edition motorcycle.

To optimize the ability of this motorbike, Kawasaki also reduces its weight by presenting a set of rims made from Marchesini's very light registered material.

As a result, the Ninja ZX-10RR WSBK Edition managed to reduce its weight, allowing motorists to optimize the performance of these motorbikes such as racing motorbikes.

Kawasaki only provides 10 units in Germany for the Ninja ZX-10RR WSBK Edition. Each unit will be given the serial number listed in the tank section.

Ninja ZX-10RR WSBK Edition is offered at a price of 33,145 euros or around Rp548.5 million in Germany, including additional taxes. In comparison, the regular version of Ninja ZX-10RR is valued at around 29,995 euros or around Rp496.3 million.

In addition, buyers will get a special WSBK Edition box containing items such as signatures from two Kawasaki Racing Team drivers, Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes, as well as glass blocks containing motorcycle sketches engraved with laser technology, and key hangers. Racing number stickers from Rea and Lowes are also included in the purchase, so drivers can choose which number to use to decorate their motorbikes.
