Toyota Again Signals The Presence Of The Latest Camry, Launches On November 14

Toyota has just confirmed the presence of Camry's latest generation. This is a follow-up signal released by the Japanese manufacturer and will launch on November 14, alongside Crown in the US.

Previously, the Japanese manufacturer had displayed a shadow image showing the appearance of the model. The image shows a silhouette of a car in the middle of a rising dawn, with lights forming a 'C' pattern that turns on, resembling other models such as Prius and Crown. Then, Toyota was again not shy about showing the model clearly that could provide an overview of the specifications of the sedan.

In an image published by the manufacturer on its official website, Thursday, November 9, Toyota shows a glimpse of the back with an elegant rear light display with a curve in the trunk.

The image shows the AWD and HEV ensemble indicating that the sedan will again carry hybrid technology. At the top of the lamp, there is a C letter that is clearly displayed indicating the identity of the car.

Thus, the latest Camry will fill the ranks of other hybrid models that have been introduced in the US, including the Land Cruiser and Tacoma 2024. This car will be based on the TNGA-K platform with an all-wheel drive (AWD) drive system like the previous generation.

Toyota seems eager to pursue competitors, such as Honda, which recently launched the latest generation from Accord earlier this year. By giving birth to the latest Camry, Toyota hopes to close the gap and continue the success of the previous generation.

Camry is one of the best-selling products in the United States. Last year, the model was ranked fifth among the best-selling vehicles in Uncle Sam's country with 295,201 units, under RAV4 that managed to deliver 399,941 units.

However, this luxury sedan is not a popular product in its own home country, Japan. Sales of this vehicle decreased to below 6,000 units, so Toyota decided to stop production for the domestic market.
