Starting From A Concept Car, Subaru Prepares To Present Solterra STI

JAKARTA - Not a secret Subaru, Japan's leading automotive manufacturer is focusing its attention on the transition to global electric mobility. Even so, the spirit of maintaining the essence and unique characteristics of brands remains a top priority for the company with the'six star' logo.

This is evidenced by Subaru preparing to launch the Solterra STI which is not just introducing electric vehicles, but Subaru promises a performance that is more amazing than the standard variant.

Reportedly Best Car, Monday, October 16, this electric-powered SUV is planned to be added to the ranks of Subaru electric cars in the summer of 2024.

Subaru's decision to launch the Solterra STI was not an abrupt decision. Previously, at the Tokyo Motor Show 2022, Subaru had revealed the concept of the Solterra STI with a more sporting and aggressive design, affirming their commitment to high performance.

The design of the Solterra STI concept on display at the Tokyo Motor Show 2022 shows a red touch that dominates splitters, back diffusers, side skirts, rims, and the back wing that says 'STI', a high performance division that is the company's mainstay.

Regarding the plan to use the 'STI' badge, Subaru is also reportedly considering using the 'Ste' label, as they have submitted the trademark to the patent and trademark offices in Germany. The name 'Ste' will be specifically intended for high-performance electric cars made by Subaru.

With Subaru's plan to launch the Solterra STI, the company doesn't seem to be sacrificing the performance of this vehicle. At the same time, competition is getting fiercer with the presence of competitors like Hyundai who have introduced the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, as well as Kia with EV6 GT which offers high performance.
