Cadillac Celebrates 20 Years Of Its High Performance Division With The Launch Of Escalade-V 2024

JAKARTA - In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of its top performance division, V-Series, Cadillac has introduced several models with very special touches. One of the newest is the Cadillac Escalade-V 2024.

Just like the CT4-V and CT5-V 2024 models, the Cadillac Escalade-V will come with a special package "20th Anniversary V-Series". This package includes various components given a distinctive touch of sporty.

As reported by Carscoops on Wednesday, August 23, this "20th Anniversary V-Series" package includes grips that have been adapted to a more unique light display. When the vehicle is turned on, the customer will be greeted with impressive special animations.

The "20th Anniversary V-Series" package also includes the exterior color of the Black Diamond Tricoat, which is the iconic color of the models developed by this division. This color was first introduced to the second generation CTS-V in 2011.

In addition, the Escalade-V will have a more aggressive look thanks to the exhaust system of four exhausts and 22-inch tires that hide the Brembo brakes on the front. The suspension will also be set to provide a more sporting driving experience, while the interior will remain luxurious and classy.

Although Cadillac, based in Detroit, USA, has not provided specific details about the 2024 Escalade-V, it can be anticipated that this luxury SUV will be powered by a very powerful engine.

The 2024 Escalade-V is likely to use a 6.2 liter large V8 engine that can generate up to 682 dk of power with a peak torque of 884 Nm. This machine will be paired with an automatic transmission of ten accelerations and a driving system of all wheels.

With this impressive engine, the Cadillac Escalade-V 2024 is projected to be able to reach speeds of 0-100 km/h in about 4 seconds, with the highest speed reaching 177 km/hour.

But unfortunately, Cadillac has yet to announce an official price for this model. Given that this is a special edition, it is hoped that the price will be higher than the 2023 Escalade-V model.

In comparison, the Cadillac Escalade-V 2023 is sold for 149,990 US dollars or around Rp2,287 billion. Another model that received a special touch, namely CT5-V Blackwing, sold for $94,690 USD or around Rp1.4 billion, while CT4-V Blackwing sells for 62,890 US dollars or around Rp941.6 million.
