Honda Records Sales of 1,992 Vehicle Units at GIIAS 2023, All-New CR-V behind New Brio

JAKARTA - Brand Holder Agent (APM) for Honda cars, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), recorded impressive achievements during the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

In the series of events that took place from 10 to 20 August 2023 in Tangerang, Honda recorded sales of 1,992 units, with the New Honda Brio as the most popular model, followed by the All New Honda CR-V.

Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM, said that the enthusiasm of the visitors made Honda achieve higher sales figures than the previous year.

"Our newest product, the All New Honda CR-V, was greeted with great enthusiasm by consumers. In addition, other products such as the All New Honda HR-V, BR-V and WR-V also recorded an increase in sales compared to the previous year, " said Billy in his statement, Tuesday, August 22.

Of the total sales of 1,992 units, New Honda Brio took the lead by recording sales of 485 units or 24 percent of total sales.

This achievement was followed by the All New Honda CR-V, which sold 385 units or around 19 percent of total sales.

Apart from Brio and CR-V, other sales were mostly contributed by products in the SUV segment. The Honda HR-V recorded sales of 365 units, while the BR-V and WR-V each sold 340 units.

It is important to note that these sales figures are the result of orders made directly at the Honda booth during GIIAS 2023 and have fulfilled all administrative procedures including payment of the booking fee.

GIIAS 2023 is also the moment for the launch of the All-New CR-V, which is the sixth generation of Honda's iconic SUV. Prices for the All-New Honda CR-V start from IDR 739.9 million (On The Road Jakarta) for the 1.5 L turbo type, while for the 2.0 L type or All New CR-V Hybrid, the price is IDR 799.9 million (On The Road Jakarta).

Consumers also have several attractive color options for this model, including Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and the newest color Canyon River Blue Metallic. Meanwhile, the RS e: HEV variant is available in the elegant Ignite Red Metallic color.
