Celebrate 20 Years Of Existence, Daihatsu Releases Xenia Limited Edition At GIIAS 2023

JAKARTA - Enlivening the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), Daihatsu carries the theme "Advancing Life Tomorrow" by showing off its various flagship models.

Interestingly, Daihatsu also displays a flagship MPV with a different design and is limitedly presented. The car, called Daihatsu Xenia Limited Edition, is only sold for 20 units, which is equivalent to the age of this model adorning the Indonesian automotive industry stage for two full decades.

Hendrayadi Lastiyoso, Head of the Marketing & Customer Relations Division of PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operation, hopes that the launch of this special edition of Xenia can become a magnet for GIIAS visitors as well as for Daihatsu loyal customers who for 20 years have entrusted Xenia as their travel partner.

"We also thank customers who continue to entrust Xenia as the main preferred vehicle, where this is evidenced by more than 700 thousand Xenia units that have been sold since 2004 until now," said Hendrayadi in his statement, Friday, August 11.

Reflecting on the basis of Xenia 1.3 R ADS CVT, this limited edition MPV gets a touch of dual color, an elegant combination between silver and black, making this car look sporty and fashionable.

The appearance is getting more and more sporty and fierce with black elements which include alloy wheels, front grips, fog light caps, and outside mirrors. The impression of courage is increasingly appearing through the red stripe accents that billowing the headlights and along the interior of the car.

In the latest generation of Xenia, the car was built on the foundation of Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA), a modern platform that results from a combination of the latest technology and the flexibility of efficiency in driving.

Daihatsu Xenia offers two alternative machines, each with a capacity of 1.3 liters and 1.5 liters of NR-VE Dual VVT-i, which is linked to CVT transmission. This combination makes Xenia a real example of the high fuel efficiency in the MPV segment.

However, not only in the realm of efficiency, but Daihatsu Xenia also shows extraordinary skills in conquering urban traffic. With a ground clearance as high as 205 mm, a turn radius of 4.9 meters, and equipped with Electric Power Steering (ESP), this car is capable of performing various maneuvers agilely.
