JAKARTA - The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) stage not only shows off the latest innovations from automotive manufacturers, but is also an important moment for new brands such as Seres.

Enthusiasticly, PT Sokoindo Automobile, the holder of the Seres brand, presented the Seres E1 at GIIAS 2023, while announcing the official price for the Indonesian market.

PT Sokoindo Automobile revealed the figures that were eagerly awaited for Seres E1, starting from Rp. 189 million for Type B, while the highest type, Type L, is priced at Rp. 219 million.

Franz Wang, Chief Operating Officer of PT Sokoindo Automobile, expressed his belief that Seres E1 would be a smart urban mobility solution, offering agile performance and zero emission footprint.

"With these superior features, we believe that Seres E1 will be appreciated by the Indonesian people," Wang said with enthusiasm on Thursday, August 10, in an official statement.

Not only revealing prices, but PT Sokoindo Automobile also detailed information about the E1 Seres features. Equipped with lithium-ion phosphate batteries, this vehicle is capable of traveling up to 220 km per charge, making it the right choice for urban mobility.

Despite carrying compact dimensions, Seres E1 does not sacrifice technology. State-of-the-art features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brave Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, parking cameras, cruise control, and driving mode are pinned wisely. The highest types, Seres E1 Type L, even offer Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.

Released in May, Seres E1 became a compact and ideal electric vehicle representation for daily life in the city. With this variety of features, Seres E1 is intended to meet the needs of modern mobility.

"The purpose of determining the price of the E1 Seres reflects the spirit of PT Sokoindo Automobile in socializing electric cars, as well as being an active support in the electric vehicle ecosystem sought by the Indonesian government," added Wang.

Seres led a new era of mobility by combining the core of batteries, electric motors, and other cutting-edge components. As a result, Seres became the pioneer as the first automotive brand to present 100 percent electric vehicles in Indonesia.
