Important To Remember, These Are The Three Main Charitys That Can Be Done In The Last Ten Days Of Ramadan

JAKARTA - The last ten nights of Ramadan were the peak of Ramadan worship. This night usually Lailatul Qadar came and the Prophet during his lifetime increased his worship that night.

In a history of Aisyah explained, When entering the final ten of Ramadan, the Prophet focused on worshiping, filling his night with worship, he woke his family to join worship, (HR Al-Bukhari).

Because of its importance, the scholars strongly recommend increasing worship in the last ten of Ramadan. According to Zainuddin Al-Malibari in Fathul Mu'in, launching Islam NU, Thursday, March 20, there are three main practices that must be carried out at the end of Ramadan.

First, increase alms, meet the needs of the family, and do good to relatives and neighbors. If given advantages and adequacy, it would be better if this treasure was used to provide as much iftar as possible for a fasting person, even if it was just giving a glass of water.

Second, increase reading the Koran. Reading the Koran every time and anywhere other than a place is prohibited from reading the Koran, such as toilets and others. Imam An-Nawawi explained, reading the Koran at the end of the night is better than the beginning of the night and reading the Qur'an the best during the day is after the dawn prayer. Abu Bakar Syatha added, reading the Koran at night is more important than during the day because it is more focused.

Third, increase i'tikaf in the last ten Ramadan. This is in accordance with the habits of the Prophet who increases worship by giving tikaf' in the mosque in the last ten Ramadan. These three practices were carried out at the end of Ramadan in order to expect Allah SWT's pleasure and hope to meet the night of Lailatul Qadar. Because performing good deeds tonight is better than performing in other months that do not have lailatul qadar.
