JAKARTA - Netflix announced that the Gyeongseong Create series will be released soon this year. The series starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee has undergone the shooting process until the second part.

In the Geeked Week 2023 event, Netflix shared various latest news from their content including Gyeongseong Create. The series will be divided into two parts, where the first part will be released on December 22 while the second part will air on January 5, 2024.

The first teaser was released showing humans and foreigners being in a hospital at the same time, before Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee came with weapons and pointed at opponents in front of them.

Then, Park Seo Joon pulled Han So Hee and ran together through the hallway in the hospital accompanied by tense music.

Gyeongseong Create has a background in 1045 at the Ongseong hospital in the city of Gyeongseong. The story focuses on Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) who survive monsters born of human greed.

Jang Tae Sang is the owner of the House of Golden pawn house and is said to be the richest person in Gyeongseong. Yoon Chae Ok is a trace seeker with a brilliant reputation. Both will save the world on a mysterious journey.

The series was written by Kang Eun Kyung and directed by Chung Dong Yoon who had worked on the Hot Store League.

This series is the second-newest work of the year. Han So Hee last appeared in Jungkook BTS's Seven music video. While Park Seo Joon appears in his latest film The Marvels which marks his debut in Hollywood.

Filming Gyeongseong Create took a long time considering Han So Hee was injured while filming.

Gyeongseong Create's first part has 10 episodes to be released on December 22.
