Eiichiro Oda Announces Live Action Version One Piece Series To Season Two

JAKARTA - Netflix announced that the live action series One Piece will continue into a second season. Eiichiro Oda as the creator of this series shared the good news through a special video with Den Mushi.

Without showing his face, Eiichiro Oda expressed his gratitude for the lively welcome from the audience and fans of the One Piece series.

"To the Great Fleet of Dry Hats, what do you think about ONE PIECE live action season 1? I spend a lot of time working on it with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios," said Eiichiro Oda.

"It seems that audiences around the world are enjoying it, which means the hard work of the production team is becoming very commensurate," he said again.

Eiichiro Oda appreciates those who have been One Piece fans for a long time, but also don't forget about those who are watching Luffy et al's adventure for the first time.

Two weeks after the launch, I received good news. Netflix decided to continue the ONE PIECE series! The adventures of Imenki and the live-action Jerami Topic Gang will continue! " said Eiichiro Oda.

Even so, Eiichiro Oda admitted that the audience must be patient waiting for the news of the second season. They will prepare the script carefully and start production again. But it is certain that Luffy's adventure has not ended in the first season.

Previously, the producer of theOne Piece series,Marty Adelstein, revealed that the script for the second season had been prepared.

The One Piece series, which was initiated in 2016, was finally realized this year. Eiichiro Oda as a mangaka is also an executive producer and admits that there has been a big overhaul in the production of this series.

The long-time production paid off, as the series ranks first Netflix worldwide, watched 37.8 million times in less than two weeks since its release. The series also ranks first in 46 countries and is in the Top 10 ranks in 93 countries.

One Piece is Eiichiro Oda's phenomenal work and is one of the best-selling manga series of all time with millions of fans around the world. The story focuses on Monkey D. Luffy, played by I
