Impact Of Danny Masterson's Support Letter, Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Sorry

JAKARTA - Less than a week, the couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis made a public apology. The letter they wrote in support of Danny Masterson's sexual harassment case became controversial on social media.

Previously, Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison for being proven to have raped two people. Masterson served a 15-year prison sentence for each case in a row.

After the judge's verdict came out, a collection of letters from 50 of Masterson's colleagues were shown, including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis who were opponents of Masterson in the series That 70s Show. They call Danny Masterson a role model and have an extraordinary character.

"We are aware of the disappointment caused by our writing for Danny Masterson," said Ashton Kutcher, starting the video.

"We support the victim. We've done it through our work and will continue to do it," said Mila Kunis who sat beside Kutcher.

The two began explaining that the letter was made after the Masterson family contacted them to write letters and describe people they knew for 25 years.

"The letter we wrote was not to question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the jury's decision. (The letter) intends for judges to read and not underestimate the victim's testimony or traumatize them," Kutcher said.

"We never wanted to do that, and we apologize if that happened," he said.

"Our hearts are on those who have been victims of sexual harassment, abusive or rape," Mila Kunis said ending the video.

One of the victims who saw the video of Kutcher and Kunis thought the video hurt the feelings of the victims.

This video is very insulting and painful. My hope is that they learn responsibility and the importance of independent education to know when to maintain their privileges, especially Ashton, who claims to work with victims of sexual crimes. As for Mila, I can only think about Times Up wrote Yashar Ali about one of the victims.

Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison in Los Angeles, and he was only allowed to apply for parole when he was 77.
