New Name Reported For Alleged Sexual Harassment Miss Universe Indonesia 2023

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya investigators again summoned the reporting party from a case of alleged sexual harassment during body checking at the Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 (MUID) event.

Melissa Anggraini as the reporter's attorney said that her party presented three victims who were finalists for MUID 2023, and also three witnesses.

"Today there are 3 victims and 3 witnesses. In total, 6 people today gave information," said Melissa Anggraini when met at Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, August 29.

"Previously they had all given information on the examination of the investigation at that time. And today, they reiterated the information at that time," he continued.

However, Melissa did not specify who the six people who underwent examination with Polda Metro Jaya investigators today.

Meanwhile, the new information stated by the victims and witnesses includes their psychological condition after a report against PT Capella Swastika Karya led by Poppy Capella, which holds the MUID license during the implementation.

"There are several additions, especially related to what the victim said about psychological conditions, their response, what they felt, what they experienced after reporting to the Polda Metro Jaya," said Melissa Anggraini.

In addition, Melissa also mentioned that there was a new name that was also reported. His party asked investigators to also pay attention to these names.

"Today the victim also mentioned the new names requested by the investigators to be studied and developed further regarding their accountability," he said.

Although not clearly mentioning who the new names were reported for, Melissa said the reported party was part of MUID who was at the location when the alleged sexual harassment occurred.

There was one name from MUID, which at the first time we reported it was not included as the reported party. So when the victim was given information, it just appeared, 'Oh it turns out that this party is in the location, it is in the booth, it is around body checking, therapy in the public he as if he does not know body checking,' concluded Melissa Anggraini.
