JAKARTA - Actress Chelsea Islan and Mikha Tambayong competed in the performance of Ariyah's theater art from the Ancol Bridge. This story is based on the legend of urban Jakarta, the Sweet Bridge Ancol.

"The difference, of course, in terms of gestures, is definitely different, we can't take one take two or take three, take one all from beginning to end," he said at Ariyah's inaugural performance from Ancol Bridge at the Jakarta Theater, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 26.

The woman of Minahasa's descent said that both herself, Chelsea, and also the other actors involved had trained carefully so that each aspect of the performance was well recorded in muscle memory, so she was able to compete with gestures and scripts outside her head.

"Well, that's why our preparations have to be so mature so that it becomes muscle memory, so every time we go up on stage, the dialogue we say, our blocking movements, everything is well trained," he added.

On the same occasion, Chelsea Islan said he and the other players had been training hard for almost two months. Research on Betawi dialects and culture that he set out to do in order to show his best.

"We've been training for almost two months and as long as we've been in the process together, we're working together, helping each other, for our own dialects we're also doing research with each other," said the actress of American descent.

The stage tickets ranged from Rp. 200 thousand to Rp. 1.2 million. Ariyah from the Ancol Bridge also stars Ario Bayu, Gusty Pratama, Lucky Moniaga, Ririn Ekawati, and many more.
