JAKARTA - Bobby Joseph returned to dealing with the law due to drug abuse. He was arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on Friday, July 21 yesterday.

In front of the media crew, Bobby Joseph appeared in a prisoner's shirt with his hand handcuffed. From the look on his face, he looks regretless.

"I want to apologize, especially to my family and the people of Indonesia," said Bobby Joseph during a press release at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, July 25.

Bobby Joseph appealed to people who are known or unknown to avoid drugs. He said that the result of drugs would be very difficult.

"I urge other friends, from what I know or don't I know, to stay away from drugs," said Bobby Joseph.

"Never touch it, because it will be very difficult to be here," he continued.

Bobby Joseph also promised not to use drugs anymore, considering that his arrest this time was the second time.

"I apologize and I promise not to repeat it again," said Bobby Joseph while lowering his head.

Furthermore, the Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, Kompol Achmad Ardhy, said that the suspect was detained at his private residence in the Cinere area, Depok on Friday, July 21.

"For the incident on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his residence at around 22.00 WIB, evidence was found in the form of a clear plastic package containing synthetic tobacco narcotics with a gross weight of 0.46 grams and two padir paper," said Achamd Ardhy.

Achmad Ardhy explained that Bobby Joseph's arrest started with a public complaint. The complaint made his party conduct an investigation and succeeded in securing the actor at his private residence.

"Starting from a public report on Thursday, we from the South Jakarta Police Narcotics Investigation Unit then conducted an investigation," concluded Achmad Ardhy.
