Filming In Azerbaijan, DEAR JO Film Reveals The Inequality Of Unpregnant Wife

JAKARTA - MVP Pictures launched the BIG Screen film DEAR JO (Almost is Never Enough) directed by Monty Tiwa and Lakonde. The film is scheduled to start showing in Indonesian cinemas on August 10, 2023.

This 100-minute film stars Jourdy Pranata, Salsabilla Adriani, Anggika Bolsterli, Roy Sungkono, Widyawati, Mathias Muchus and Azkya Mahira. The screenwriters Nataya Bagya and Monty Tiwa tells a love story about Joshua (Jourdy Pranata) and Maura (Salsabilla Adriani) which is full of touching and sacrificial stories.

This film is even more interesting by taking shooting locations in Azerbaijan and the city of Jakarta. DEAR JO (Almost is Never Enough) is a feature film that tells the story of Joshua and Maura, a young husband and wife couple, getting married and working in Baku, Azerbaijan. Despite their financial success, they felt uneasy because Maura could not get pregnant.

Maura has a close friend named Ella, a single parent from Indonesia who also lives in Baku. Ella knew Maura's desire to have children, and they agreed Ella would be a surrogate mother. However, when Ella was pregnant, Maura died in a tragic accident that made Ella and Joshua very devastated and their lives fell apart.
