Bringing J's It's Only Me Song Way, WayV Makes Fans Happy

Subunit grup idol K-pop NCT, WayV di Jakarta (ANTARA)

JAKARTA - A Chinese-based idol group as well as a subunit of the K-pop idol group NCT, WayV sang a song belonging to an Indonesian singer, How come J entitled It's Only Me in the 2023 WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom] in JAKARTA in ICE BSD, Tangerang on Saturday. Five group personnel namely Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery and Yang who took turns singing the lyrics of the song sendu which became part of the Melancholy album and was released in 2021. "So far, thousands of days I was close to you. Passed various things. I was in your yard. Without you knowing I hope. Give even if I didn't come back," said the lyrics of the song that had gone viral in the TikTok universe. "Everything can follow our chants that means we didn't choose the wrong song. We brought it up with our style, isn't it good?," said Ten after singing quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, April 29. WayV leader Kun assessed that his group managed to give great memories to fans or familiarly called WayZenNi in Indonesia through the song WayZenJ. "We want to give great memories to WayZenNi, it seems successful," he said, who at that time suffered an injury to his feet. After briefly speaking on stage, WayV continued the sendu atmosphere by performing the song Broken Love "2023 WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom]" started in Seoul, South Korea on February 11 and 12, 2023 and only five of the seven participating personnel were Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang (minus Winwin and Lucas).

Selain di Seoul, WayV juga menggelar acara di beberapa kota negara lain seperti Manila pada 26 Maret 2023, kemudian di Bangkok pada 1 dan 2 April 2023.Mereka akhirnya berkesempatan menggelar acara serupa di Indonesia pada Sabtu ini, atau berselang sekitar empat bulan sejak mereka mengeluarkan mini album keempat berjudul Phantom dengan lagu utama yang terinspirasi dari The Phantom of the Opera pada Desember 2022.Tak lama setelah dirilis secara global, album ini menduduki peringkat wahid tangga album teratas iTunes di total 23 negara termasuk Indonesia, Australia, India, Meksiko, Brazil, Selandia Baru, Finlandia, Polandia, Chili, Singapura, Turki, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, dan Filipina.
