Jason Sudeikis Confirms Ted Lasso's Last Third Season, Opens Spin-off Potential

JAKARTA - Jason Sudeikis confirmed that Ted Lasso's series will end in season three. However, that doesn't mean the opportunity to develop the story just ends.

"I mean, there's always cameos, right? This is the ending of the story we want to share, which we hope to share, and we're happy to share," Jason Sudeikis said.

"The fact that the audience wants more and more to be curious than they know. The third season is very beautiful," he continued.

According to him, public reactions will change when they finish watching Ted Lasso 3. Sudeikis also revealed that there were discussions to develop the story into a spin-off format.

"Maybe when May 31st, after all the 12 episodes were released, they would say, 'Man we understand, we don't need more' but until the time comes, I appreciate the curiosity with what we've made so far," said Jason Sudeikis.

We are open to such ideas... explore such stories but I consider them a compliment for what we do. It's very good to consider this because you never know what happens when you make it," he continued.

Jason Sudeikis considers the spin-off plan a form of public praise for the successful Ted Lasso series on the market.

"The fact that people want more, even in different places is a beautiful thing," said Jason Sudeikis.

Ted Lasso is a series that tells the story of Ted Lasso's character who was recruited to coach the fictional English Premier League club, AFCition, although he has no experience training football. He was recruited by team owner Rebecca Welton who hopes Lasso fails to guide the club.

But Ted Lasso's charisma, jokes and traits began to win Rebecca and an initially skeptical team of Ted Lasso's performance.

The final season of the Ted Lasso series will be released on March 15th on Apple TV+.
