Achieving Many Awards At Various Festivals, Autobiography Ready To Show January 19

JAKARTA - Autobiography is one of the national films that Indonesian audiences have been waiting for at the beginning of this year. Bringn to various domestic and foreign festivals in 2022, the first feature film from director and screenwriter Makbul Mubarak will be shown in theaters in the near future.

With the many awards obtained from various festivals, Autobiography is also expected to be enjoyed by the wider Indonesian people. The journey of this film is long, hopefully, the film can be enjoyed by more people," said Kevin Ardilova as well as the main character at a press conference in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta on Tuesday, January 17.

Kevin's co-star who is a senior actor in the country, Arswendy Bening Suara also said the same thing. "My hope is that after this film communicates with audiences from various countries, I hope to also be able to communicate well with spectators in my own country. I am happy to be involved in this film," he said.

Lukman Sardi, who took part in this film, also expressed the same hope. In addition, he admitted that he was happy to be appearing in Autobiography, although his role was much smaller than the two actors mentioned above.

It's nice to be able to take part in this film. For me personally, an interesting experience can be involved in this film. Hopefully, this film can be watched by many people and can inspire too," he said.

The Autobiography film is planned to be shown in more than 25 cities in various parts of Indonesia. Although most only cinemas on the island of Java broadcast, cities outside Java such as Denpasar, Medan, Palembang, Makassar and Manado have also been prepared to present this film.

Autobiography itself tells the story of Rakib (Kevin Ardilova), a young man who works to take care of Purna's house (Arswendy Bening Swara). One day, Purna returns home to take care of her candidacy as regent.

Rakib saw Purna as the father figure he wanted, but an incident changed the point of view of the two in seeing each other.

In addition to the three names of the actors above, Autobiography was also starred by Rukman Rosadi, Yusuf Mahardika, Yudi Ahmad Tajudin, Haru Sandra, and the late Gunawan Maryanto. The Autobiography film will premiere and can be seen in theaters on January 19.
