Claiming Innocent, Kevin Spacey Denies Seven Accusations of Sexual Harassment

JAKARTA - Actor Kevin Spacey pleaded not guilty to seven other counts of sexual harassment in a virtual trial held in London, England, on Friday, January 13 local time.

As published by The Hollywood Reporter, the trial focused on the additional charges filed against Spacey last November.

The charges include three counts of indecent assault, three sexual assaults, and one count of causing someone to engage in sexual activity without consent. The allegations occurred in the period from 2001 to 2004.

The new allegations come just weeks after a jury in New York, US, ruled that Spacey was not responsible for allegations of sexual assault against actor Anthony Rapp.

Judge Mark Wall agreed to combine the seven charges with five previous charges in England, including four counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. In July, Spacey pleaded not guilty to the five previous charges.

Previously, Judge Wall had set a trial date for June 6, 2023, which is expected to last three to four weeks. Spacey will remain on unconditional bail until that hearing date, allowing him to move freely in and out of the UK.
