JAKARTA - Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero became icons of the film Adventure Sherina in the 2000s. Again starring in the Sherina 2 Adventures, they shared the moments they missed when they starred in the Sherina Adventure film. One of the things Sherina misses is the creative way producer Mira Lesmana and director Riri Riza handle those who are difficult to manage.

"In the past, when I was a child, I thought Aunt Mira and Om Riri had techniques to deal with children like the two of us. We couldn't stop one, the other couldn't be buried either," Sherina said at a press conference in Jakarta, Monday, November 28.

Sherina said that getting a storybook and reading fairy tale from various countries by Mira Lesmana, a room for playing games was provided to create a school atmosphere.

Now, both Sherina and Derby are reunited in Sherina's Adventure 2. Sherina admits that she is very happy. According to him, the production of this film was done at the right moment.

"I'm so happy, with Derby again, Om Riri, Aunt Mira and friends, it was a very pleasant experience, a lot of studying and fun. Everyday we joked about it," said Sherina, who remembered that it was very difficult to manage when she was little and she appreciated Riri and Mira's patience.

Speaking of chemistry, Sherina and Derby agreed they no longer need to build it because they are still in contact with each other until now.

Sherina said re-engaging the same film project as Derby was a fun thing.

"That's why it's really fun in this project that we meet again, because it's more like nostalgia together, to see what mental development is like, how to get older," he said.

"Maybe after the first one, but there's no chance to work together anymore. It's really fun, it's amazingly fun," Derby added, quoted from ANTARA.

After a long preparation process, on December 7, 2022, the entire crew and cast of the film "Petualkan Sherina 2" will start shooting in Kalimantan. This time, Miles Films will work with Base Entertainment to make this sequel.

Besides Sherina and Derby, this sequel also stars Isyana Sarasvati, Kelly Tandiono, Chandra Satria, comedian Ardhit Erwanda, Randy Danistha, new star Quinn Salman and actor Mathias Muchus and Ucie Nurul who previously played the character of Sherina's father and mother in Sherina's adventure.
