The Conjuring 4 Ready To Produce, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick Writing

JAKARTA - The New Line production house will return with the The Conjuring franchise. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is believed to be the scriptwriter for The Conjuring 4.

Johnson-McGoldrick is not a new name in the film The Conjuring. He worked on The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

James Wan and Peter Safran also returned to the producer chair that perfected the Conjuring universe. Another film from The Conjuring universe, The Nun 2 is currently being produced in France.

The success of Devil Made Me Do It in 2021 is inevitable. This film became the number one box office in the midst of a pandemic and contributed big numbers.

The Conjuring films are inspired by the real cases experienced by paranormal investigators Ed and Teso Warren. It is not yet known what conflict will be the story of The Conjuring 4.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga were also appointed to play Warren for three Conjuring films. They also appeared in the spinoff filmANGle Comes Homes.

So far neither Wilson nor Farmiga have shared news about their participation in The Conjuring 4.

David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick has worked with the Warner Bros. production house for several films ranging from Orphan, Red Riding hood, and Wrath of the Titans.

Most recently he wrote the sequel to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which will be released in December 2023.
