JAKARTA - The film Dune: Part Two has started the production process. Director Denis Villeneuve will shoot the sequel in four main locations namely Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy.

Quoted from Variety, Tuesday, July 19, Warner Bros and Legendary studio Dune: Part 2 will explore the mystical journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the tribe of Fremen on a "mission of revenge".

Both studios have also confirmed the returning cast. In addition to Chalamet and Zendaya, the ranks of top stars such as Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Charlotte Rampling and Stephen McKinley Henderson are also present in this sequel.

The studio has confirmed the following crew for Dune: Part Two, including cinematographer Greig Fraser; costume designer Jacqueline West; makeup, hair and prosthetics designer Donald Mowat; composer Hans Zimmer; production designer Patrice Vermette; editor Joe Walker; visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; and special effects supervisor Gerd Nefzer.

"I work with the same crew, where everyone knows what to do, and we know what it looks like. The film will be more challenging, but we know where we are going," Villeneuve said, quoted by ANTARA.
