Junior Roberts Nervous About Acting With Prilly Latuconsina

JAKARTA - Junior Roberts admitted that he was nervous when he found out that he would compete with Prilly Latuconsina in the film 12 Stories of Glen Anggara. He feels that his experience in the film industry is not as much as the actress.

"Honestly, when I was first told that I was filming with Prilly, I was really nervous because I still have a few films, how many years of experience in Jakarta, while Prilly has been shooting for several years," said Junior Roberts, as quoted by ANTARA on Monday, July 18.

Junior also admitted that he was a bit awkward when he had intimate scenes with Prilly. However, he was able to learn many new lessons while acting with Prilly.

The reason, according to him, Prilly is always total when bringing the character she plays. In addition, Prilly is very kind and always open to discussion so that the filming process runs smoothly.

"Turns out he's a really nice person, very open minded. We discussed a lot, so the shooting went smoothly. I was also amazed by the way he thought, the way he behaved, the way he handled things," Junior explained.

On the other hand, Prilly Latuconsina said that she immediately felt comfortable acting with Junior because they had actually known each other for a long time, and often hung out together.

"Incidentally, Junior and I often hangout. There is even a photo of us holding hands, it turns out that we play often. But because we are both busy, we only met again in this film," said Prilly.

When paired with Junior in 12 Stories of Glen Anggara, Prilly admitted that it was not difficult to build chemistry because she only had to remember the moments of her togetherness with Junior.

However, according to Prilly, Junior is a very polite person to her. In fact, in real life, Junior calls Prilly as 'sister'. This makes them a bit difficult when competing acting.

"He called me 'brother', very respectful. Meanwhile, his character had to be shy with me, he had to be cocky," said Prilly.

Directed by Fajar Bustomi, "12 Stories of Glen Anggara" is a film adapted from a novel by Luluk HF and a spin-off from the film "Mariposa" which was released in 2020.

The film tells the story of Glen (Junior Roberts) and Shena (Prilly Latuconsina) who have 12 wishes to fulfill before his life ends. The film 12 stories of Glen Anggara will be released in theaters starting August 18, 2022.
