JAKARTA - It is said that Go Yoon Jung will replace Jung So Min in the drama Alchemy of Souls 2. Hankook Ilbo reports that filming for the second season of Alchemy of Souls has begun by featuring Go Yoon Jung as the female lead.

The Korean drama Alchemy of Souls tells the story of Mu Deok (played by Jung Seo Min) who is possessed by the soul of a hitman named Nak Soo (played by Go Yoon Jung).

But his soul was trapped in Mu Deok's weak body. Mu Deok ends up disguised as a servant to a young master Jang Wook (played by Lee Jae Wook) and teaches him how to fight.

tvN provides an explanation to stop rumors of a major change in the second season of Alchemy of Souls. tvN revealed that the second season of Alchemy of Souls is still a secret. Moreover, the first season is still ongoing.

"Any details about part 2 cannot be disclosed at this time, as it could be a spoiler for part 1 which is still airing," said the production party quoted from Allkpop, Wednesday, July 13.

Jung So Min is said to have only signed a contract for the first season of Alchemy of Souls. Meanwhile, other players will continue to star in the second season of Alchemy of Souls.
