JAKARTA - The film Perjalanan Pertama is ready to be released in Indonesia on July 14 and in Malaysia on August 18. This film is the result of the collaboration of two production houses from duiegara, Mahakarya Pictures in collaboration with D Ayu Pictures and Malaysia

This First Travel film stars two main actors from two countries. Actor from Indonesia is Muzakki Ramdhan who competed acting with veteran Malaysian actor, Ahmad Tamimi Siregar. Apart from the two of them, Perjalanan Pertama also played a number of other supporting actors: Andinda Thomas Randy Pangalila, and Gilang Dirga.

This First Travel film is based on a family story background, grandchildren's relationship and grandfather's. Their relationship was ups and downs due to several events in the past.

The director of the film "First Travel" Arief Malinmudo said he was happy because the film would finally be shown in a number of cinemas in the country.

"Hopefully the 111 minutes we have lived have just become the best 111 minutes of our lives," he said during a press conference for the film "First Travel" at Epicentrum XXI Kuningan, Jakarta, Thursday.

The film, which is included in the 2021 Moslem Film Festival of the Australian and Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF), tells the relationship between the grandfather and grandson, played by veteran Malaysian actor Ahmad Tamimi Siregar and young Indonesian actor Muzakki Ramdhan.

"This film is very special for me, being able to work with legendary actors from Malaysia, Ahmad Tamimi Siregar and the other is Indonesian film racing star, Muzzaki," said Arief.

Muzakki himself said that Yahya's character was very strong. Meanwhile, the way he built a close relationship with Ahmad Tarmimi, he admitted that he had not been building chemistry with the Malaysian actor for too long.

"Assisted by Om Arief as well. Two months before filming, we were invited to go for a walk to Bukittinggi on the Vespa, look at the house," said Muzakki.

Meanwhile, it is different from Randy Pangalila who had to partner with Adinda Thomas as Muchtar and Nurma. They admitted that they had never met before the production of this film.

"Really foreigners meet. But everything is going well, Adinda is also fast, the chemistry is easy for us to build," said Rendy.

Adinda Thomas himself was interested because of his synopsis which shared a strong family relationship and he was challenged and had to speak good and correct Indonesian.

"This is also the first time I have the opportunity to use a headscarf in a film," he said.
