Fajar Bustomi: Jefri Nichol And Tiara Andini Meet Semesta For My Sassy Girl

JAKARTA - Director Fajar Bustomi talked about the two main players in the film My Sassy Girl, namely Jefri Nichol and Tiara Andini. According to him, the two are two people who were met by the universe.

"They seem to have just met the universe. Besides that, these two characters are so different from each other, but they like each other. It's interesting to learn about their journey," Fajar said at Grand Indonesia, Friday, June 17.

Fajar said he was proud to be able to finish this film with the support of the filmmakers and actors involved.

"Hopefully this film is a success and can be a source of pride, a remake of a Korean film with an Indonesian style in it. I really like the music, the scenario, the pictures, and the amazing friends who join. I hope the audience can feel as happy as I did when watching this film. ," he said.

My Sassy Girl tells the story of Gian (Jefri Nichol) who is supposed to go to his aunt's house, who wants to set Gian up with his late son's ex-lover.

However, since he was at the station, until he was in the integrated highway mode, Gian was caught in a situation that required him to take care of a drunk girl named Sissy (Tiara Andini), by taking her to a hotel. There was a misunderstanding between Gian and Sissy, but that was precisely what brought them to meeting after meeting.

The encounter forms a community, in which Gian finds himself unable and unwilling to stay away from Sissy, even though Sissy often bullies him.

Sissy, who has a gloomy side as a result of her past, can find happiness whenever she is with Gian. My Sassy Girl premieres in Indonesian cinemas starting June 23, 2022.
