JAKARTA - The trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues. Several witnesses from Heard's side were presented at trial, one of which was industry expert Kathryn Arnold.

Arnold appeared in court Monday, May 23 for Amber Heard who was sued by Depp. The trial is currently ongoing in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Kathryn Arnold tells of an actor who tries to save Heard from losing his role in the Aquaman franchise. Moreover, the film was called a turning point in Heard's career.

"(Aquaman) is a moment where she (Amber Heard) is not only a great actress but she is now in the most successful film for DC Comics," said Kathryn Arnold.

"This is an incredible moment for his career to continue," added Arnold.

Arnold said that although Amber Heard's name is being tarnished, but in the acting industry she is still needed to act.

"In public, it's very negative. But in the industry, they liked Heard's work but couldn't work with him right now. Because every time his name is mentioned, a negative side will appear,” said Kathryn Arnold.

A petition asking Heard to be removed from Aquaman 2 has also been signed by four million users.

"Directors James Wan and Jason Momoa insisted Heard stay in Aquaman 2," said Arnold.

"The social media campaign to get Amber out of Aquaman used defamatory statements," Arnold said.

Amber Heard also revealed that the production house did not want her to join Aquaman 2. Currently she doesn't even have a new film project so she is looking for funding for her independent film.

“I worked hard to stay in this (Aquaman 2) film. They didn't want me to be in the film," said Amber Heard.
