In Line With Amber Heard, Ellen Barkin Says Johnny Depp Often Gets Drunk And Throws Wine Bottles

JAKARTA - Johnny Depp's ex-girlfriend, Ellen Barkin testified in Depp's latest trial with Amber Heard. Footage of the actress premiered in court on Thursday, May 19.

Ellen Barkin was opposite Johnny Depp in the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Then they had a romantic relationship and walked for a while.

In 2019, Barkin was asked to testify about Johnny Depp. In the tape, Barkin tells Depp is the person who looks drunk all the time.

"He (Johnny Depp) was always drinking and smoking," Ellen Barkin said in the footage played at court on Thursday, May 19.

At one time Johnny Depp threw a bottle of wine while with Barkin and his friends. The bottle didn't hit anyone. Barkin also said Depp is known as a person who is always drunk and likes to take drugs.

Amber also gives a similar picture, Depp is even called a drug monster because he is often drunk and uses drugs. Even in marriage, Amber and Johnny Depp had drug parties.

“I have a scar on my back because he was so angry. He believed I had sex with someone he wasn't," said Ellen Barkin.

Johnny Depp's party denied Ellen Barkin's claims. Citing Reuters, they said Barkin held a grudge against his former lover.

"I have no emotion management problems," said Johnny Depp's side.

Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard over a The Washington Post article written in 2018. Heard said he was a victim of domestic violence although he did not mention Depp in the article.

Depp's lawsuit aims to let the public know the truth. It is known that this had an impact on Johnny Depp's career, one of which was to leave the production of Pirates of the Caribbean.
