Allegedly Insulting Children With Disabilities, Zinidin Zidan Clarifies: By Allah, That's A Kulbet Trend

JAKARTA - Since making fun of Andika Mahesa, Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan have continued to receive blasphemy. Netizens began to search for their videos from the past and did not hesitate to make them go viral so that the two men were bullied.

The most recent was when netizens found a video showing Zinidin Zidan and Tri Suaka in style. However, this style is considered to be imitating the movements of children with special needs (ABK).

Reportedly, there are parents of ABK who feel offended by the movement. Because it became a conversation, Zinidin Zidan immediately made a clarification. He said he had no intention of insulting the crew at all.

"To parents who have Children with Special Needs (ABK), By Allah, Bang Tri Suaka and I have no intention at all to harass or insult Children with Special Needs," Zidan wrote on his social media on Tuesday, April 26.

According to him, he and Tri Asylum are imitating the popular movement on TikTok, namely Kulbet or Cool Really. It's known that Kulbet's movement leads to someone strutting around and swinging arms.

"What we demonstrated in the video that went viral recently, is the movement in the KULBET (Kul Banget) trend which is popular on TikTok/IG," he continued.

Zinidin Zidan also stated that he was not the first to popularize the movement. They are just imitating what is being crowded on the internet.

“We didn't even create and popularize the movement. We made the video when the kulbet trend was busy," he explained.

"We did not expect that the video could be misinterpreted and spread to cause unrest," he concluded.

Previously, Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan became a conversation after their video imitating Andika Mahesa went viral. Netizens think that these two musicians don't respect more senior artists.
