JAKARTA - Actor Johnny Depp claims he has lost a lot after the defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. At a hearing in Fairfax County, he gave a statement to the judge regarding what he experienced.

As you know, in 2018, Amber Heard wrote an article for The Washington Post. She describes himself as a public figure who symbolizes domestic violence.

Johnny Depp's name was not mentioned directly, but the article tarnished his reputation as an actor.

“What harm did you feel after Heard made these accusations against you?” asked the lawyer.

“Everything,” replied Johnny Depp, launching LADBible on Thursday, April 21.

Furthermore, he recalled that when the accusations first surfaced, Johnny Depp felt his career as an actor was over.

"When the accusations were made, they circled the world, saying I was a threat to hitting women - suddenly at 50, it's over," explains Johnny Depp.

"So what's the effect on me? I explain like this, whatever the outcome of this trial, the two charges that were given to me, spread and became food for the media, when that happened, I lost," he said.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star realizes that the consequences of his career will continue.

"You could say I lost because it's not something that people forget in a short time. I will live with this for the rest of my life because of the allegations and this is a high-profile case."

"I feel sick. It hurts to the point that there is no truth in it. The fact that it's hurting me and stealing the show has a lot to do with how I get up and down," he explains.
