Write A Message, Son Naeun Officially Leaves Apink

JAKARTA - Son Na Eun confirmed that she was leaving the K-pop group Apink. Last week, he wrote a letter addressed to his fans.

"I will leave Apink, who has been with me for these 11 years," said Son Naeun.

"I made a difficult decision after a lot of debate, even though it's not an easy decision, I plan to become a Panda (Apink fan) and support Apink from now on," he continued.

Through her letter, Naeun thanked the five members of Apink: Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung. He is also grateful for the IST Entertainment agency that has managed Apink to date.

This news circulated a year after Naeun joined YG Entertainment following her contract ending. Not as a singer, Naeun is contracted as an actress under sub YG STAGE.

Naeun is still participating in Apink's group activities, one of which is the release of the album HORN last February. However, he did not participate in promotional activities because it collided with the shooting schedule.

Naeun's absence from Apink's activities created controversy. However, in the end, Naeun chose to leave the group that made her name.

On the other hand, Apink's leader Park Chorong also wrote a letter to fans stating that each member is trying to sacrifice something to maintain the group.

"Because we know each other, this is the best decision we have made. Trust us, we always worry about Panda and prioritize Apink," said Chorong.

Meanwhile, Son Naeun has just completed the production of the Korean drama Ghost Doctor with Rain, Kim Bum, and UEE.
