.FEAST Back To The Story Of Ali's Figure In The Song Gugatan Rakyat Semesta

JAKARTA - For those of you who follow .FEAST, of course, you know the figure of Ali in their songs. This time, they again recounted the journey of the fictional character through a song entitled "Gugatan Rakyat Semesta".

Released on Friday, April 8, Gugatan Rakyat Semesta tells of Ali (the main character) who outperformed his political opponents. The medium-tempo song is filled with guitar, and bass, with critical lyrics.

This story continues Ali's story in the song of the same name on the mini-album Sounds Cute Might Delete Later in 2021.

"The lyrics are a depiction of a scene from the story in the upcoming mini-album, precisely about the efforts of Ali (main character) and his comrades in overthrowing the government ranks with (almost) full support from the people," said Baskara Putra, vocalist for .FEAST.

The Gugatan Rakyat Semesta is one of the materials from .FEAST's latest album. This song was written in 2015 but underwent a number of changes.

"Old songs feel new. We try to direct the old arrangement to a new, more modern mood. The song is really analog, but we updated it with the latest .Feast style to make it more manly,” said Dicky Renanda, the guitarist and composer of this song.

Gugatan Rakyat Semesta at first glance sounds like a .FEAST release of last year. However they tried to refresh the release by adding some new parts.

"We don't want to get rid of the common thread for .Feast music in 2015," said Ryo Bodat as the drummer.

Apart from being the opening act, this song is .FEAST's latest work after releasing Maju as the soundtrack to the Kadet 1947 film.

Meanwhile, Gugatan Rakyat Semesta from .FEAST can be streamed starting today, Friday, April 8th.
