JAKARTA - In the context of International Women's Day which is commemorated every March 8, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia (KemenPPPA) launched a song entitled SAPA 129.

The lyrics of the song SAPA 129 were written and sung directly by Minister Bintang Puspayoga. As directed by the Minister, this song was made with an innovation from the tune of the 3Ends song previously created by Shinta Priwit for the Ministry of PPPA.

The arrangement of the SAPA 129 song was assisted by Rachma Tady, while the vocal recording of Minister Bintang Puspayoga was carried out directly at the KemenPPPA office and at the Minister's official house by taking advantage of the busy schedule of the minister.

Launching an official statement received by VOI, Sunday, through the lyrics of the song SAPA 129 Shinta invites the public to be more aware and play an active role in preventing violence that often occurs against women and children.

Not only that, this song also promotes the KemenPPPA's Friends of Women and Children program and the call center (SAPA 129) which is specially prepared for handling and assisting victims of violence.

"I am very happy but also surprised, because this is an honor and a very precious moment where I can collaborate with Minister Bintang Puspayoga directly," said Shinta Priwit about his collaboration with Minister Bintang.

"Hopefully this song reaches all levels of society and motivates them to be more active in preventing and stopping violence against women and children," he concluded.
