Stray Kids' Answer After Becoming The First JYP Artist With 1 Million Album Sales

JAKARTA - K-pop group Stray Kids set a record with their new album, ODDINARY, which was released on Friday, March 18.

Stray Kids' latest album has been ordered by 1.3 million, making them the latest artist to enter the million seller list. This number increased from sales of the previous album, NOEASY, which was 930 thousand copies.

In addition, Stray Kids is the first JYP Entertainment artist with album sales exceeding one million.

“This is an achievement that we received because of all the love from STAY (Stray Kids fans). When we heard the figure of 1.3 million, I was stunned and couldn't understand what a good number was," said one member, IN, launching Soompi.

“Thank you for always giving us a lot of love. We will become singers who deliver better music."

Lee Know also feels that Stray Kids' achievements so far have been due to the role of fans supporting them.

“This happened because STAY stepped in with us. I don't know if we will walk or run for our future goals, but we will walk with STAY," said Lee Know.

Stray Kids released the mini album ODDINARY with MANIAC as the main track. This song expresses Stray Kids' desire to live beyond boundaries.

The song with an upbeat tempo was written by 3RACHA consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han and assisted by producer VERSACHOI. The music video, which was released on the same day, has more than 10 million views.
