Rizky Nazar Is Free And Undergoes Outpatient Rehabilitation While Promoting New Series

JAKARTA - The presence of actor Rizky Nazar at the press conference for serial 17 Forever was a surprise to the public. The reason, he is said to be still undergoing rehabilitation for drug use that he did some time ago.

Reportedly, Rizky Nazar's drug case was not processed in court so he was required to carry out outpatient rehabilitation.

"Actually, he is not free, he still has two more times for outpatient treatment. There are eight outpatients. So there are still two more times left at the South Jakarta BNNK," said Dikdik Kusnadi, Head of BNN.

There are several considerations that made Rizky Nazar not undergo the legal process, among which he was not indicated as a dealer. The BNN confirmed that it did not give special treatment to the actor.

Instead of talking about his rehabilitation period, Rizky Nazar chose to focus on his latest project.

Meanwhile, Rizky Nazar is back with a new series titled 17 Forever. This WeTV original series is played by Rizky with Syifa Hadju and Steffi Zamora.

“I am interested in playing this series because the story has a history. Moreover, the director is Mas Hanung Bramantyo," said Rizky Nazar on Wednesday, March 2.

Through 17 Forever, Rizky Nazar plays Putra, someone who is curious about Dawai (Syifa Hadju). Dawai, who is often a victim of bullying, must close the secret meeting he has. Dawai's mysterious side turns Putra interested so that the two become close.

The plan is that the 17 Forever series will air on WeTV this year.
