Buya Yahya One Voice With Gus Miftah, Asks Dorce Gamalama Not To Be Insulted

JAKARTA - Dorce Gamalama was born with the name Dedi Yuliardi Ashadi. She often performed under the name Dorce and more often positioned herself as a woman.

Feeling increasingly trapped in a man's body, Dedi then decided to have sex change surgery. He then had sex change surgery in 1983.

In the YouTube channel Confidence Bang Denny, Dorce expressed his desire to be buried as a woman. "After the operation, I became a woman and had a female genitalia. So if I die, I want to be buried as a woman," Dorce pleaded on YouTube Denny Sumargo, which was uploaded January 23.

Gus Miftah has commented that this wish is not justified by Islamic law. It would be best if Dorce was buried as he was born a man.

Besides Gus Miftah, Buya Yahya also commented on the Al-Bahjah TV YouTube channel. "A man who is born a man, then changed into a woman, in essence he is still a man. The way to treat the corpse is a man, because he is not a real woman," he was quoted as saying Monday, January 31.

Not only that, Buya Yahya also revealed that there are a number of people who do have a test in their true identity. "Only tools such as women's tools are made, they will not turn into (whole) women unless it is proven that they are male or female," said Buya Yahya.

"There are people who are born, it is not clear whether they are male or female, because the tools are not clear, but sometimes as time goes on, the male hormones appear, everything is seen by experts," he said again.

Strictly speaking, Buya Yahya said that a man who turns into a woman is still considered a man.

"He is still an expert in faith, not out of faith. If he dies, may Allah forgive him. If he is alive, don't imitate him because of his great sin, but if he dies, don't sin, he is a believer," he said.

Even so, Buya Yahya was also disappointed with the verbal abuse directed at Dorce Gamalama regarding his will. "If there are friends who are being tested by Allah, we want to connect them to have a special chat, not to be humiliated and then cursed or not," he said, as quoted from
