Sritex Proposes PK After Supreme Court Rejects Cassation

SUKOHARJO - PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) Tbk submitted a review or PK after the Supreme Court rejected the appeal submitted by the company some time ago.

With this rejection, it means that until now Sritex is still bankrupt in accordance with the decision of the Semarang Commercial District Court (PN).

President Director of PT Sritex Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto in Solo, Central Java, Friday, admitted that he was quite shocked by the decision.

"The moment we didn't anticipate, how to deal with this," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 20.

Due to this refusal, his party carried out internal consolidation. From the results of the consolidation, his party will submit a review.

"Because it is our spirit to sustain this business and we follow the aspirations of employees who want them to keep trying and work in Sritex," he said.

Regarding the next step, his party is currently drafting a PK on the bankruptcy decision.

"Hopefully we can launch it soon. This will be our last chance to be able to fight for the sustainability of this business," he said.

Including the new evidence that will be included in the PK application, he said that it is currently being discussed internally.

"Including the new reasons why we deserve to be saved. Indeed, frankly yesterday afternoon we met the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Pak Airlangga. He has the same spirit that business continuity in Sritex must be maintained," he said.

He also asked all partners, suppliers, buyers and all Sritex workers to be calm and patient.

"Use this moment to show support to us, together save Sritex," he said.
