The Government Has Salurkan 1.2 Million KL Of One Price Fuel Since 2017

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) noted that since 2017 the government has disbursed 1.2 million kiloliters (KL) of One Price Fuel through 489 distributors.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said the One Price Fuel program is a policy aimed at setting the same fuel oil (BBM) prices in all regions, so that fuel prices become uniform throughout the country.

The purpose of this policy is to reduce the disparity of inter-regional fuel prices and support economic equality in various regions.

"This energy justice has enormous benefits, and we will not stop in 2024 or the existing targets, but the government and all relevant agencies will look for areas that require affordable fuel. This is the Government's effort to meet energy needs for the community and ask Pertamina (business entities) to cover or cover the distribution costs," said Arifin, quoted Monday, November 27.

The One Price Fuel Program, continued Arifin, is the policy of uniforming the official price of fuel oil or fuel in 3T (leading and outermost) areas in Indonesian territory.

By implementing One Price Fuel, the government also seeks to make it easier for people to access energy at the same price.

"The public is also not the first, it is not difficult to get fuel, so then it can also reduce the potential for leakage, because leaks are usually expensive, so people can easily get fuel according to standard prices," said Arifin.

"Since the One Price Fuel Program began in 2017, 503 distribution agencies have been built, in volume we can convey that since 2017 we have distributed 1.2 million Kol and in 2023 itself until last October we have distributed 449 or nearly 450,000 KL to one-price fuel gas stations that have been completed in 2023," said the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.

He revealed, because the location of the one-price fuel distribution is generally in the 3T area, the distribution is multimodal, sea and air land to reach the intended distribution location.

His party, continued Riva, asked related parties to help so that the distribution could run smoothly.

"The distribution of fuel to the location of the One Price fuel distribution which will be distributed through distribution agencies in the 3T area is indeed distributed through multimodal roads not only by road but also by sea and even by air, so on this good occasion we also from Pertamina may convey to related parties to be able to work together in efforts to streamline by preparing roads or jets so that the process of distribution can run more smoothly and also be faster," concluded Riva.
