JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga adjusted the price of non-subsidized LPG by following the trend in the average price of the publication of contract price aramco (CPA) and the rupiah exchange rate.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting, said that the LPG price adjustment was made after evaluating the CPA trend in the November 2023 period, where the price of rupiah units per kilogram decreased as a result of the weakening of the dollar exchange rate against the rupiah.

"Seeing this trend, Pertamina Patra Niaga decided to evaluate and adjust the prices of all Non-Subsidized LPG products, namely all Bright Gas and Elpiji variants valid as of November 22, 2023," explained Irto in a statement to the media, Friday, November 24.

For the 5.5 kg Bright Gas product, there is a price adjustment to IDR 90,000 per cylinder or a decrease of IDR 6,000, Bright Gas 12 Kg and Elpiji 12 Kg is adjusted to IDR 192,000 per cylinder or a decrease of IDR 12,000 per tube.

This price applies to Java Island at the distribution level of Pertamina's official agency, the price per tube for agents in other regions will be adjusted referring to prices on the island of Java.

"The new price determination has referred to the general LPG pricing regulation in accordance with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 28 of 2021 concerning the Provision and Distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas," said Irto.

To facilitate the purchase of Bright Gas and Elpiji, Pertamina Patra Niaga is currently selling non-subsidized LPG products through agents and outlets, mini markets, automatic kiosks for exchanging empty tubes with new ones.
