JAKARTA - PT Astra Toll Nusantara (Astra Infra) ensures that the managed toll roads are ready to welcome the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

Astra Infra Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) Billy Perkasa Kadar said that his party had made two preparations, namely related to the physical condition of toll roads and the two related to coordination between perpetrators from toll road implementers.

"Regarding physical preparation, of course, we ensure that all toll road works related to widening lanes, making interchanges, and related to the renovation or repair of toll roads have been completed," Billy said at the Astra Industrial Journalists Workshop in Jakarta, Friday, November 17.

Billy said, on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, Astra Infra itself has completed the interchange construction and has also widened the third lane.

"The third rate is important because it is an effort to increase road capacity. So, the third lane that we have widened is in Cikande, East Serang, which has been completed in September 2021. This is very important for the flow leading to the island of Sumatra," he said.

In addition, said Billy, for the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road, his party has widened the third lane from KM 72 to KM 78, as well as widening in the rest area.

He added that regarding coordination ahead of the Nataru period, his party would cooperate with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and Korlantas.

"We have started from the last two months to coordinate so that later traffic regulation on toll roads will run well," he said.
