Joining Prabowo-Gibran Teamses, Budiman Sudjatmiko Resigns From The Position Of Commissioner Of PTPN V

JAKARTA - Budiman Sudjatmiko stated that he would resign from his position as Commissioner of the Idependent PT Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V). This resignation is in line with Budiman joining the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka National Campaign Team (TKN).

Budiman said the resignation letter would be submitted to SOE Minister Erick Thohir and PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) President Director Mohammad Abdul Ghani.

"My resignation letter will be addressed to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero)," he told reporters, written Wednesday, November 8.

The resignation letter will also be copied to the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V and President Commissioner of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V.

"I will also hand over the gusts to the Deputy Minister of SOEs (Kartika Wirjoatmodjo) and the Deputy for Human Resources, Technology and Information of the Ministry of SOEs (Tedi Bharata)," said Budiman.

The plan is for Budiman to submit his resignation letter today, Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

"This was prepared first (a letter of resignation) and will only be submitted," he said.

For your information, Budiman Sudjatmiko himself was appointed by Erick Thohir as Independent Commissioner of PTPN V in January 2021. It was recorded that Budiman had joined for almost 3 years. However, this position was released in line with Budiman joining the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN).

Prior to Budiman, Muhammad Arief Rosyid Hasan also resigned his position as Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) for joining TKN Prabowo-Gibran.

Long before Arief and Budiman, Rosan Roeslani also chose to resign from his position as Deputy Minister of SOEs. Rosan resigned as he was elected as Chairman of the Prabowo National Campaign Team Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
