Here's How To Check El Nino BLT IDR 200,000 From The Government

JAKARTA - The government plans to provide direct cash assistance (BLT) which will be provided to the poor to deal with the long dry impact of the El Nino phenomenon.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the uncertainty of the global economy will greatly impact the domestic economy.

Therefore, the government has prepared BLT El Nino with a total of IDR 400,000 for families affected by the long dry season to maintain people's purchasing power.

According to Ani, her nickname, with various global sentiments, Indonesia's economic growth will be lower than the 5.06 percent plan, which is at 4.86 percent.

The government has prepared a budget of Rp7.52 trillion, which will receive Rp200,000 in cash every month, namely in November and December 2023.

So that the total money received by the community is Rp. 400,000. The assistance was addressed to 18.8 million Beneficiary Families (KPM).

"They will get IDR 200 thousand per month for November and December," Sri Mulyani said at a press conference on our State Budget, October 2023 Edition.

In addition to BLT El Nino 2023, the government has also prepared other economic policies, namely by extending social assistance in the form of 10 kg rice per KPM to 21.3 million families until December 2023 and providing VAT DTP incentives to purchase houses under IDR 2 billion until 2024.

To check whether you are one of the families who received the assistance, you can do these two steps, namely by accessing the Cekbansos.go.id page or through the Social Assistance Check Application.

The following are steps that can be taken through the Ministry of Social's website.

1. Go to the Cekbansos.kemensos.go.id page

2. Enter the names of Provinces, Regencies, Districts, and Villages/Kelurahan

3. Enter the name PM (Recipient of Benefits) according to the ID card

4. Type in the 4 code letters listed in the code box

5. If the code letter is not clear, click the refresh icon to get a new code letter

6. Click the CARI DATA button. The Social Assistance Check System of the Ministry of Social Affairs will seek PM's Name (Recipient of Benefits) according to the inputted Region

While checking through the Social Assistance Check Application

1. Download the Social Assistance Check Application officially released by the Ministry of Social Affairs

2. Create a new account and fill in the personal data column provided

3. Attach a selfie, as well as a photo of the ID card. The data will then be verified by the Ministry of Social Affairs

4. After the data is verified, type log in and enter the username, and password

5. Select the Social Assistance Check menu in the application and complete the data

6. Click Find Data
