JAKARTA - The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) issued technical instructions regarding recommendations for the purchase of Certain Types of Oil Fuel (BBM) Solar and Types of Special Assignment Fuel (JBKP) Pertalite.

The regulation is contained in BPH Migas Regulation Number 2 of 2023 concerning Issuance of Recommended Letters for the Purchase of JBT and JBKP.

"This rule is a guideline for stakeholders in implementation in the field," said Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati in her statement to the media, Monday, October 16.

Erika said that this regulation provides a detailed explanation of the stages and the mechanism for issuing recommendation letters for the purchase of JBT Solar and JBKP Pertalite.

Utilization of information technology also plays an important role in the process of issuing recommendation letters.

"In the issuance of the recommendation letter, it will be carried out by utilizing information technology, so it is hoped that it will provide convenience for stakeholders in the issuance of the recommendation letter," added Erika.

In line with Erika, Member of the BPH Migas Committee, Harya Adityawarman, explained that this regulation aims to provide technical instructions for the issuance of recommendation letters for the purchase of JBT and JBKP.

"In addition, this regulation is to ensure an orderly implementation of issuance, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of recommendation letters for the purchase of JBT or JBKP, and to realize the provision and distribution of JBT and JBKP that are right on target and on volume," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of BBM BPH Migas Sentot Harijady Bradjanto Tri Putro also explained about the unique code used in the numbering of recommendation letters, so that there is no same recommendation letter number.

"And it is hoped that there will be no duplication of recommendation letters," he explained.
