PGN through its subsidiary, PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) together with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga conducted the First Welding (first examination) of the Oil Pipanization Project for the Pengapon-Boyolali route to fulfill energy in Central Java.
The first welding was held at KP 02 Pipanization Boyolali Payer, Central Java on Thursday, October 12.
PGN's Director of Infrastructure and Technology, Achmad Muchtasyar explained, the construction of a steel pipe with a diameter of approximately 81.5 kilometers will be used for energy survival in the Central Java region through the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) such as Premium, Solar, Pertamax, from the Integrated Terminal Semarang Group (Pengapon) to the Boyolali Fuel Terminal.
"Hopefully pipe reliability will always be prioritized, because this pipe is to meet fuel needs in Boyolali. Collaboration with Pertamina Patra Niaga is also a form of synergy between Pertamina Subholding and this must be improved in the future," said Achmad in a statement to the media, Thursday, October 12.
He hopes that the fuel pipe built by PGN Solution will also accommodate safe fuel stocks for the Boyolali community.
