Ahead Of The 2023 Mandalika MotoGP, AP I Receives 66 Additional Pilot Applications

PT Angkasa Pura I (AP I) has received 66 additional or extra flight applications submitted by four airlines ahead of the 2023 MotoGP Grand Prix of Indonesia in Mandalika.

The details are three national airlines and one international.

"Until now, we have received 66 additional flight applications or extra flights submitted by 4 national airlines, namely Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Indonesia AirAsia, and Super Air Jet, as well as 1 international airline, namely Malaysia Airlines," said AP1 President Director Faik Fahmi in an official statement, Monday, October 9.

In addition, said Faik, two AP I subsidiaries, namely Angkasa Pura Logistik (APL) and Angkasa Pura Hotel (APH) are also committed to supporting and successful the implementation of the MotoGP MotoGP series Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023.

Where for the provision of logistics services, AP1's subsidiary, APL, has handled 377 tons of logistics in the form of championship participants' vehicles and supporting spare parts.

APL plays an important role starting from the logistics loading stage from cargo aircraft, logistics transportation from the airport to the Mandalika Circuit, to the cargo demolition process when it arrives at the circuit.

Faik said, APL also serves the handling of cargo belonging to Dorna Sports as the MotoGP organizer who arrives at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, to transportation to the Mandalika Circuit.

APL will also play a role in transporting logistics from the circuit back to the airport for the departure process for Australia, which is the next series after the Grand Prix of Indonesia.

Meanwhile, for the provision of hospitality services, AP1's subsidiary, APH provides passenger fast track services through Premium Airport Special Service (PASS), as well as the Concordia Airport Lounge service, namely VIP services intended for passengers and championship participants.
