Kemenkop UKM Gets IDR 1.4 Trillion Allocation In 2024, Here Are The Programs

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) received a budget ceiling of more than IDR 1.4 trillion in 2024.

This was stated by the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki in a Working Meeting with Commission VI of the DPR RI in Jakarta, on Monday, September 4.

"As is known, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs budget ceiling in 2024 is Rp. 1,497,938,999,000 or more than Rp. 1.4 trillion," said Coordinating Minister for SMEs Teten.

Menteri Teten mengatakan, anggaran tersebut akan dialokasikan untuk sejumlah program Kemenkop UKM, di antaranya untuk program dukungan manajemen sebesar Rp411.038.5344.000 atau Rp411 miliar lebih, serta program Kewirasa, UMKM, dan Koperasi sebesar Rp1.086.900.465.000 atau Rp1 triliun lebih.

"The budget is intended, among others, for the education function budget of Rp. 117,000,600,000, operational expenditures for employees of Rp. 123,338,461,000, operational expenditure for goods of Rp. 92,657,742,000, and also financing for national priority activities of Rp. 767,359,294,000," said Teten.

Teten said, there are 8 priority programs of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs for 2024, such as complete data collection of cooperatives and MSMEs, joint production houses/factory sharing, development of packaged housing services, and redesign of PLUT KUMKM/New PLUT.

Then, there is the people's market revitalization program, the development of modern cooperatives, extreme poverty alleviation, and national entrepreneurship development.

"This is in accordance with the president's direction for the downstream program of natural resources from plantations and the marine sector, as well as other national priorities," he said.
