Minister Of PUPR: Presidential Office And 4 Coordinating Ministry For Village Buildings In 2024

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed that a number of government buildings and buildings in the National Capital or IKN Nusantara such as the presidential office, four coordinating ministry offices (Kemenko), and the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) building are targeted for completion next year.

"The presidential office, four offices of the Coordinating Ministry and several ministry buildings such as the Ministry of State Secretariat building are targeted for completion next year," Basuki said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 16.

Basuki also explained that other government facilities targeted for completion next year are the field for the celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Anniversary at IKN Nusantara. Meanwhile, the state mosque construction project is being carried out.

He said regarding housing in IKN, there are a number of ministerial landed houses that have been completed and equipped with furniture in October this year.

The Ministry of PUPR this year allocated a budget of IDR 35.67 trillion for the development of IKN Nusantara next year. The realization of IKN Infrastructure Support for 2020 2023 is IDR 54.69 trillion out of a total of IDR 62.27 trillion for 76 work packages until 2024 with a progress of 17.74 percent.

The details are the first wave of construction for the 2020 period March 2023 amounting to Rp24.16 trillion or 39 packages of work with a progress of 40 percent. Meanwhile, the second wave of development after March 2023 amounted to Rp30.53 trillion or 39 work packages with a progress of 0.11 percent.

Based on the Financial Note Book along with the State Budget Draft (RAPBN) for Fiscal Year 2024, IKN development is one of the tasks of the Ministry of PUPR in addition to accelerating strategic projects in accordance with the President's direction.

In 2024, the infrastructure budget will focus on supporting economic transformation for equitable development, with a policy direction, one of which is to support the acceleration of the completion of IKN development in stages and sustainably.
