Construction Of 47 ASN Flats Towers At IKN Will Begin This Month

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) revealed that the construction of 47 state civil servants (ASN) in IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan, will begin in August 2023.

"As many as 47 ASN flats with the APBN scheme may be able to start signing contracts this August and immediately start construction," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force of the Ministry of PUPR Danis Sumadilaga in Jakarta, quoted on Thursday, August 10.

However, Danis said that there are only about 12 towers of 47 ASN flat towers that can be completed in 2024 and the ASN flat can be occupied immediately.

A total of 12 ASN flat towers are projected to accommodate around 2,200 ASN who will be transferred to IKN Nusantara.

The Ministry of PUPR is ready to accelerate the construction of a residential flat for government employees in the core area of IKN Nusantara in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

The residential flat is adjusted to the ASN level, the higher the ASN rank of residential flats will be wider and the smallest the area of the ASN residential flats is around 98 square meters.

"Rusun untuk hunian ASN, selagi apartemen dengan 47 tower dan masing-masing tower rata-rata dibangun 12 lantai," ucapnya.

According to Danis, the construction of residential flats for government employees is in accordance with the city's concept of managing and maintaining the forest ecosystem, so that flats are built by not cutting up many forests.

"Maybe around 12 of these towers can be occupied immediately until 2024," he concluded.
